Hand-Painted Canvas Production: From Brief to Approval

Agree what the reference should control

A useful brief identifies the subject, crop, orientation, important details, and color priorities. A room render can explain the setting, but we also need the image to be painted. Resolve any conflict between the source proportion and the requested canvas format before the painter starts.

Choose medium and surface deliberately

Acrylic is the standard medium; oil is available when requested and requires a schedule suited to the work. Tell us whether you want a flatter painted surface, visible brushwork, or substantial texture. A heavily textured painting needs a rigid presentation for transport rather than rolling.

Review the developing canvas

We share progress photographs and short videos of the work. Keep feedback tied to the approved brief: identify the area and the change clearly. For a collection, nominate one reviewer and use artwork IDs so comments on one canvas do not accidentally change the others.

Approve the actual finished painting

We send daylight photographs for final approval. Check the composition, retained details, palette, and presentation against the agreed source. For a repeated design, expect individual brushwork in each hand-painted canvas. After approval and payment of the balance, we prepare the agreed packing and shipment.

Is there a print underneath the paint?

No. The image is hand painted directly on premium linen. We do not add texture over a printed canvas. The finished photographs show the physical painting made for your order.

Does one painter make the whole canvas?

Yes. One painter works on each canvas. For a group, the shared source and approved specifications guide the collection, while each piece retains its own hand-painted brushwork.

How do I give useful feedback on a progress photograph?

Refer to the artwork ID and mark the area you mean. Explain the intended change in relation to the approved source, such as a missing architectural detail or a background that needs to be quieter. Consolidate comments through one reviewer.

Can I approve a physical sample before a larger run?

Yes. Order the sample as a separate single-piece order. Review it in your intended setting, then confirm the selected designs, sizes, and quantities for a separately quoted production run.

Does the production range include delivery?

No. Add any sample round, your review time, shipping, and local installation or framing. Detailed subjects, large formats, heavy texture, and oil can take longer; the schedule is confirmed against the actual brief.
