Hand-Painted to Order  ·  Trade Pricing From One Piece  ·  WhatsApp: Usually Instant Replies

A country brief for United Arab Emirates interior designers who have already selected the image and need a hand-painted canvas made to their project rules. This page does not prescribe a national style. It uses public, dated examples of local design work to identify what should be stated in the artwork brief before production.

What public project evidence shows in United Arab Emirates

Dubai studio Roar commissioned Emirati artists for Edelman’s 1,000 m² office, including a reception installation in brand colours and graphic artworks derived from satellite images of downtown Dubai. Source: Edelman, Dubai – darc magazine (2019).

For Takeda’s 23,000 sq ft Dubai office, Roar used a series by Khalid Shafar based on khoos palm weaving throughout the interiors. Source: Elle Decor India – Roar Takeda office (2020).

KCA International worked with an art consultant on nine paintings for the Burj Al Arab visitor experience, using carpet and fabric samples so floor, furniture and art formed one visual system. Source: Design Middle East – Burj Al Arab new contemporary artworks (2021-12-09).

These are individual projects and organisations, not a survey of every United Arab Emirates interior. Their relevance is practical: they show why a production brief needs a real wall, a source, a scale and a named approval path.

What this changes in a United Arab Emirates artwork brief

  • Separate the source image from the palette source. A brand graphic or photograph may set the subject while fabric and carpet samples control the color relationship.
  • For a reception or workplace series, identify every location and whether the artwork must use one repeatable motif or a controlled variation.
  • Send material photos in daylight and say which colors are non-negotiable; a broad request for “Dubai luxury” is not a paint instruction.

What to send PaletteMomento

Selected image The approved photograph, artwork, render, AI image or design file, plus confirmation that the client has the right to use it.
Wall evidence A front-on photo, elevation or render, the finished width and height, nearby furniture or joinery, and the intended viewing distance.
Production rules The approved crop, key forms to preserve, color priorities, acrylic or oil, texture direction, stretched or framed presentation, and quantity.
Approval record Project code, room or zone code, approver, target installation date, and whether this canvas sets the rule for a later series.

What PaletteMomento will confirm before painting

We confirm the source, final ratio, crop, dimensions, material, surface, presentation, quantity and the question that could change the result. The canvas is then hand-painted directly on premium linen in acrylic as standard, or oil on request. It is not a print. Photos and short videos are shared during production, followed by daylight photographs of the finished canvas for approval before shipping.

United Arab Emirates interior designer questions

Can I use a render or material board as part of the brief?
Yes. State which file controls composition and which controls palette, materials or mood. A set of references is usable when their roles are clear.
Can the work be made at a custom size?
Yes. Send the exact finished dimensions and the selected ratio. If the target wall differs from the source, approve a crop, retained negative space or authorised extension before painting begins.
Can a multi-room order stay consistent?
Yes, when the project record states the shared palette, dimensions, material, framing, surface direction and the elements that may vary from room to room.
