Panel, mantel and crop
Measure the clear wall or moulding opening and note the mantel width. We can compare the artwork’s painted dimensions with the space, then confirm any crop or format change before painting.
Visible image and frame size
For local framing, keep the visible image size separate from the outer frame measurement. Ask your framer about the frame depth and canvas allowance; we can make the canvas to the agreed specification.
Colour, medium and surface
Share nearby stone, wood, fabric or paint references and say which colours should lead. Acrylic is standard and oil is available on request; agree the desired brushwork and texture before production.

Review the actual hand-painted canvas before dispatch
A room image helps place the artwork; photographs of the real canvas help you judge the painting itself. The studio views alongside show hand-painted work and its surface.

- Progress photos and videos: share consolidated feedback before the final review.
We share progress photographs or video while the work develops. When it is complete, daylight photographs let you and your client review the full composition and visible details before it leaves the studio.
If a sample is important for an in-person review, please allow for its separate production and delivery, followed by your review time, before scheduling the larger commission. Screen colour varies with display and lighting.

Compare the complete cost
Your quote sets out the artwork, chosen presentation and delivery. For a large canvas, rolled delivery may cost less to transport; include your French framer’s stretching or framing price when comparing the finished total.
Choose transport for the work and deadline
We can compare express courier options when timing is tight and sea freight for larger work when the schedule allows. Most shipments are DDP; local customs rules in some destinations require an exception, which we will explain in your quote.
Allow time for approval and installation
Share the French delivery postcode, receiving details and required arrival date. The plan should include painting and drying, your review, transit and local framing. If ordering a sample first, add its delivery and your review time too.

Can you paint the image my client chose, and how much will it cost?
We can assess the reference and quote for the requested size, medium, finish, quantity and French delivery postcode. Please share an approximate size and the date you need it. We suggest using photographs or artwork you own or have permission to reproduce. WhatsApp is the fastest way to discuss a quote.
Can a painting fit inside a moulded wall panel or above a mantel?
Yes. Please share a straight-on photo or elevation with the clear opening measured, plus the mantel width if relevant. We can help choose a proportion that sits comfortably within the architectural details.
What if the reference image is too wide for a narrow panel?
We can review a crop, a different canvas proportion or a painted extension while preserving the subject’s important features. We will show and confirm the composition with you before painting; we do not stretch the image out of proportion.
What measurements should I give my local framer?
Confirm the visible painted image and the overall framed size separately. Ask your framer to specify the opening, frame depth, and canvas turn-in or wrap allowance. Send those measurements before production so the canvas can be prepared for the intended frame.
Can I review paint texture and colour before the full order?
We share progress images and final daylight photographs of the actual canvas before dispatch. You may also order one sample to review in person; it is priced and treated as a separate single-piece order and is not credited against a later order. Include sample delivery and your review time in the schedule.
Can the painting work with my client’s stone, timber or fabric palette?
Please send photographs or references for the materials and identify the colours to emphasise or soften. We can discuss palette, brushwork and surface; acrylic is standard, and oil is available on request. Screen and room lighting can affect how colours appear.
Can different designs and sizes be combined in one order?
Yes. Each room can have a distinct image while colours or finishes create a relationship across the project. Mixed designs count together toward the 1, 6 and 21-piece quantity tiers; each canvas has its own confirmed size and specification.
How do delivery and customs work for France?
Your quote includes the selected delivery option and destination. Most shipments are DDP; if local customs rules require different terms, we will explain that exception in advance. We work with more than 200 logistics partners and can compare express and sea freight against the budget and required arrival date.
Can a finished painting be shipped rolled for local framing?
When the painted surface and format are suitable for rolling, we leave an additional 5 cm of blank canvas on each side of the painted image for stretching or framing. If your French framer needs a different allowance, please share it before production. Heavily textured work may need a rigid presentation.
Can you help if I only have a room render or mood board?
Yes. A render, wall elevation or mood board is enough to begin discussing subject, proportion and colour. We can explore possible directions with you and confirm a suitable reference before hand-painting.
