A real client commission

Textured Angel Wings Painting Commission: Gold, Pink and Blue for a Living Room

The client wanted an angel-wings painting for their living room and commissioned us to create a canvas 140 cm wide × 70 cm high. Ivory and warm gold tones open into pink, peach and deep blue feathers across the horizontal canvas. The photographs follow the painted surface through different views, showing overlapping strokes and raised feather edges against a pale background.

Stage 1

A pair of wings for the living room

The wide composition brings two sweeping wings together around an open center. Warm upper feathers and cooler lower feathers give the painting contrast without filling the pale space around them.

For a living room, that balance matters: the whole silhouette reads from a distance, while the individual painted feathers reward a closer look.

A softer-looking photographed state, with broad color passages and an already raised feather pattern.
Stage 2

Following the feather edges as the surface develops

In this view, ivory strokes separate the upper feathers, while peach, pink and blue passages overlap underneath. Each feather has a direction: longer marks sweep outward, and smaller overlapping marks gather toward the center.

The photographs suggest a progression in definition, but they do not document an exact count of paint layers. Lighting also changes how strongly the ridges and colors appear.

Stage 3 · Close-up details

Raised feathers, from ivory highlights to blue shadows

These close views use the same real photograph used in the opening comparison. The feather edges lift from the canvas, catching light on their ridges and creating small shadows beneath. That physical relief is part of the hand-painted work: a flat printed image can reproduce its appearance, but not these actual painted edges.

Ivory and gold toned raised feather edges
Ivory and gold tones: overlapping light strokes define the upper wings.
Pink and peach textured feathers
Pink and peach: warm layers connect the light feathers to the darker areas.
Deep blue impasto feather strokes
Deep blue: longer outward strokes give weight to the lower wings.
Commissioned painting: Textured angel wings
The most developed photographed view, selected for its defined feathers and textured background.
The developed painting

The complete painted wings

Ivory and gold feather edges open into pink and deep blue. This is the most developed view in the supplied painting record, bringing the wide silhouette and raised feather texture together.
