What hangs in Indian homes today

Deity and devotional art, painted respectfully

We paint Ganesha, Krishna, Radha Krishna, Lakshmi, Saraswati and Buddha, and we paint them the way you tell us to. That means you send the reference, and the attributes, gestures, colors and posture in your reference are what we keep. We do not invent iconography, and we do not place deities in undignified compositions.

Many buyers follow Vastu when choosing a wall. The guidance most often published places Ganesha on a north-east, north or west wall, seven running horses on a south wall, and flowing water toward the inside of the home. We are painters, not Vastu consultants, so we do not advise on this ourselves. Tell us the wall you have chosen and we size the piece for it.

Styles range from traditional Tanjore-inspired richness to a clean modern treatment in two or three colors, which is what younger buyers ask for most often now.

Pichwai, Madhubani and Kalamkari inspired work

Pichwai lotus and cow compositions, Madhubani line and fill patterns, Kalamkari-inspired botanical panels: these are living folk traditions with geographical indication protection, and the artists who make them deserve their market. So we are precise about what we do. We paint original compositions inspired by these traditions, at the size and in the palette you want. We never claim our work is Pichwai from Nathdwara, Madhubani from Mithila, or Kalamkari from Srikalahasti, and we do not copy a living folk artist’s composition.

If you want authentic work from those traditions, buy it from those artists. If you want a large piece in that visual language, sized to your wall and your palette, that is what this is.

Peacocks, elephants, horses and marigold

Wedding and family portraits from photographs

The most detailed work we do. Jewellery, embroidery, mehndi and fabric texture are what make an Indian wedding portrait read as expensive, so tell us which details matter most and we prioritize them. Faces are painted first and shown to you as a progress photo, because likeness is the thing worth checking early.

Sizes for Indian homes

Above the sofa	Art usually covers 60 to 70 percent of the sofa width. For a standard three seater, 140 to 180 centimeters wide.
Pooja area panel	Vertical, sized to sit above the shelf without crowding it. Send the shelf width and the ceiling height and we suggest a size.
Double height foyer	A tall single canvas from 120 by 180 centimeters up, or a vertical set of two.
Standard sizes	60 sizes from 24 by 20 inches to 80 by 60 inches, plus sets of two and three. Any other size is painted to your measurements at the same rate.
Finishes	Rolled in a tube, stretched on solid wood bars, or framed in black, white, wood, silver or gold, all at the same price.
Production	7 to 10 business days for 1 to 5 pieces. 10 to 15 for 6 to 20. 15 to 20 for 21 to 50.

Diwali, weddings and griha pravesh: when to order

Work backward from the date. Add the production band, the courier or sea freight range and the approval step together. Tell us the occasion on your enquiry and we confirm in writing whether it is realistic before you pay a deposit. If it is not, we say so rather than promise it.

Shipping to India, the US, the UK, the UAE and Singapore

Prices are EXW our Shenzhen studio. Freight is quoted separately at cost with the artwork, so you see the landed figure first. If you want to see what goes into that figure before you ask, how we quote walks through it.
Express courier by FedEx or DHL takes 5 to 10 business days. Sea freight takes 25 to 40 days and suits larger orders in a crate.
Rolled canvas costs far less to ship, and any framer in India, the US or the UK stretches it in a day. Heavy texture ships stretched or framed, never rolled.
Import charges are the buyer’s. Hand-painted paintings are classified under HTS 9701 in most tariff systems, and India applies customs duty and IGST on imported goods with rules that differ for individuals and businesses. Confirm with a customs broker. We provide the invoice and packing list.

Indian restaurants abroad, banquet halls and boutique hotels order sets that share a palette. Trade pricing starts at one piece and improves at 6 and again at 21, and mixed designs count together. Can you paint a large Pichwai-style lotus and cow canvas for my living room?

Yes, as an original composition inspired by the Pichwai tradition, at any size and in your palette. We do not describe it as Pichwai from Nathdwara, because that name belongs to the artists of that region, and we do not copy a living folk artist’s composition.

Can you paint our wedding photo as a portrait with the lehenga and jewellery detail kept sharp?

Can you paint a Ganesha or Radha Krishna in a modern style, and will you follow the correct iconography?

Yes. Send a daylight photo of the fabric next to white paper, or a paint code. We mix the colors, photograph them in daylight and start after you approve.

Do you ship to India, the US, the UK, the UAE and Singapore, and what about customs?

Yes to all. Prices are EXW Shenzhen and freight is quoted at cost. Express courier takes 5 to 10 business days and sea freight 25 to 40 days. Import duty and taxes are the buyer’s and differ by country, so confirm with a customs broker. We provide the invoice and packing list.

How long does it take, and can I get it in time for Diwali or a wedding?

Production is 7 to 10 business days for 1 to 5 pieces and 10 to 15 for 6 to 20, plus 5 to 10 business days by courier. Tell us the date and we confirm in writing whether it is realistic before you pay.

Do you supply Indian restaurants and hotels in bulk?

Yes. There is no minimum order. Rates improve at 6 pieces and again at 21, and mixed designs count together. For larger projects we paint a sample first and credit its cost back on orders of 10 pieces or more.

Is it hand painted on canvas, or a printed canvas?

Hand painted, brush and knife, in acrylic or oil on premium linen. Nothing is printed. Ask for close-up photos under raking light and the paint ridges are clearly visible. One painter takes a canvas from start to finish, and you can read how we paint to see that order of work.

Can I approve the faces and colors before it ships?

Yes. You see progress photos during painting and daylight photos of the finished canvas before release. Ask for adjustments at that stage and we make them before the piece leaves the studio.

Can you paint Raja Ravi Varma or a Mughal miniature?

Yes. Raja Ravi Varma died in 1906 and Mughal miniatures are centuries old, so both are in the public domain and we can paint them at any size. We do not copy work by living or recently deceased artists.

Oil or acrylic?

We paint in acrylic unless you ask for oil. Oil is available on request; because oil dries slowly between layers, oil pieces take longer.
