We paint every piece to order in Dafen, Shenzhen, so the size, the palette and the finish are all decided by your project rather than by what happens to be in stock. You see photographs of the finished canvas before it ships, and nothing leaves the studio until you approve it. Trade pricing starts at one piece, and the rate improves as the count goes up.

The warmest color sits high on the canvas. About a quarter of the way down, a broken band of burnt orange, coral and rust runs from side to side, mixed with strokes of pale aqua. Small charcoal and dark green blocks sit inside it, some with short drips below, like far buildings and their reflections. Under the band, the painting opens into a wide chalk white field with patches of powder blue. A soft sea green block then fills the lower left, with a thin teal line rising out of it and a few rust flecks. The right side stays pale, so the eye travels down the green and back up to the orange.

Most of AA25 is light. Chalk white and sea green cover the bigger part of the canvas, while the burnt orange stays in one narrow band near the top. That balance makes it a soft piece for rooms meant for rest. On a cream or warm beige wall, like the linen bedroom shown here, the pale field blends in and the orange glows. On a dusty terracotta wall, the orange band links to the wall and the green steps forward. Oak, boucle, linen and woven baskets suit it well. As pale teal abstract art for a bedroom, it fits neatly above a headboard. In a hotel hallway or a spa entrance, the light colors keep a narrow space feeling open.

Look closely at the sea green block and you will see the grain. The whole surface has a fine, sandy texture, a little like plaster, and the paint catches on it in dry, broken strokes. Each AA25 is painted from scratch for the order on premium linen, by one painter who does every stage. The layout is sketched and blocked in first. Then the chalk white, sea green, aqua and burnt orange are mixed on the palette against this design. We paint in acrylic unless you ask for oil. Oil is available on request and takes longer. While the painter works, WhatsApp brings you photos and short videos as the painting goes, and you approve daylight photos of the finished canvas before it is released.
For one to five pieces, allow about 7 to 10 business days. For six to twenty, allow about 10 to 15. The 60 and 72 inch heights take the longer end, because one painter covers the whole canvas alone.
AA25 is mostly light, and that sets its mood. Chalk white fills the middle, sea green and powder blue sit around it, and only one narrow band carries strong color. That band of burnt orange and coral sits high up, like the last light on a far shore. Small dark marks in it look like buildings or boats, with short drips below that suggest reflections. The rest stays open and soft. A painting like this suits rooms where people want to slow down, such as a bedroom, a spa, a hotel corridor or a reading corner. It adds color and depth to the wall, yet it stays easy to live with all day.
The palette is mostly cool and pale. Sea green, aqua and powder blue cover the lower left and show up in patches on the right. In color research, blue and green are often linked with calm, restful feelings, and light colors tend to read as positive, though wall color and lighting always shift the effect. The burnt orange band adds the warm side. Orange sits opposite blue on the color wheel, so a thin strip of it looks bright next to so much pale teal. The rust flecks lower down and the rust edge along the bottom right repeat it in small doses, which ties the top and the bottom together.
The surface of AA25 is part of the look. The whole canvas has a fine, sandy grain that you can see in the close-ups. Paint is dragged over that grain in dry strokes, so the color breaks into tiny specks instead of flat areas. That is why the sea green looks soft and misty, while the orange band looks rough and sunlit. A few thin teal lines, one rising like a mast and one bent at an angle near the bottom, cut through the soft areas and give the eye something crisp. The texture is low, so it shows best in side light from a window and keeps the canvas light to hang.
This painting belongs to the abstract family. It shows no real place, and nothing is drawn in detail. Yet a warm band above a wide pale plane gives it the feel of a far horizon over water or snow. When shapes suggest land, water or sky without showing a real location, an abstract like this works as a feeling of nature rather than a view. A low, open horizon has long been associated with distance, openness and possibility. In AA25 that feeling comes from color and space alone, which makes the design easy to use in many markets.
AA25 is only a little taller than it is wide, which gives it a wide range. It fills the wall above a bed, a bench or a dining table, and it also suits a hallway beside a door. Over a queen bed, the 40 by 32 inch size suits most 8 foot ceilings, and 48 by 38 inches suits a taller room. Over a 48 inch bench or console, try 40 by 32 inches. The 60 and 72 inch heights are made for lobbies and high walls. In a home, hang the center about 57 to 60 inches from the floor. Any size outside the list is painted to your measurements with the same shape.
Two designs sit well with AA25. The dark teal cliff with an apricot glow (AA15) shares the teal and the warm light in a horizontal shape, so it can hang above a sofa while AA25 takes a narrow wall nearby. For a coastal look, the teal and cream textured shoreline (TA06) repeats the sea green and chalk white with deeper raised texture.
Above furniture, aim for about two thirds of its width and leave 8 to 10 inches over the headboard or bench. If a room calls for an in-between size, the studio paints to your measurements and sends daylight photos for your approval first.
It is an abstract, so there is no set scene. A band of burnt orange and coral sits near the top over pale aqua, with small dark blocks in it. Below, a wide chalk white field opens up, and a soft sea green block fills the lower left. Many people see a far shore at sunset above still water or snow. Others enjoy it for the color and the grain.
Cream, warm white and warm beige are the safest, as the linen bedroom photo shows. They keep the chalk white field soft and let the orange band glow. Greige and taupe work well in hallways. For a bolder room, a terracotta or dusty pink wall picks up the orange, like the leather sofa photo. A bright cool white wall can make the pale field look gray.
The shape is only a little taller than it is wide, so it works above beds and benches as well as in hallways. Over a queen bed, the 40 by 32 inch size suits most 8 foot ceilings, and 48 by 38 inches suits a taller room. Over a king bed under a high ceiling, 60 by 48 inches fills the wall. Over a 48 inch bench or console, try 40 by 32 inches.
Yes. The band can turn softer, toward peach or coral, or deeper, toward rust. The sea green block can lean bluer or grayer, and the small dark marks can be lighter for a gentler look. Send a paint chip, a fabric or a photo of the room, and the colors are mixed against it on the palette before painting starts.
It has a fine, grainy texture all over, like sand or plaster, which shows best in the close-ups. The paint is dragged over it in dry strokes, so the color breaks into small specks. It is a low texture, not thick ridges or 3D relief. It looks best with soft side light from a window or a wall lamp.
Every canvas keeps the same plan, with the orange band high up, the open chalk white middle, the sea green block in the lower left and the rust edge at the bottom right. The grain, the drips and the exact shape of each dark mark change a little, since each piece is painted by hand. For a set of hotel rooms, the painter can match every piece to one sample you approve.
A thin gold or light oak frame warms the pale field and repeats the orange, as in the room photos. A thin black frame, like the main image, gives a sharper outline on a light wall. White and silver frames are also offered, along with a stretched canvas with no frame or a rolled canvas in a tube, which ships in the smallest box.
