02 / Define the painting brief
A frame opening and a piece of loose canvas are not interchangeable measurements. State the visible image area and the allowance needed for stretching. Mark whether the image should wrap, continue, or stop at the edge.
Show any lip that covers the painting and identify faces, lettering, or other details that must stay visible. Agree a crop before production when the source proportion differs from the opening. Avoid relying on stretching to solve a composition problem.
Discuss rolled delivery only when it suits the painted surface. Heavy texture may require stretched or framed transport. Confirm your own stretching plan and the intended frame so the production and freight quote reflect the finished job.
03 / Prepare the order
Visible image size, finished stretched size, frame opening, blank or painted border, medium, texture, quantity, and delivery address.
Attach the chosen reference to each design and keep alternatives separate. We review the brief with you before production is confirmed.
04 / Confirm price and delivery

05 / Resolve the details
Give the visible painted face and the allowance on each side separately. For example, a 60 × 90 cm face with 6 cm around every edge requires 72 × 102 cm of material. Confirm the allowance against your stretcher depth and gripping needs.
Yes. Send the visible opening, rebate overlap, and any limits on total canvas size. Mark important features that must remain inside the opening. We agree the crop before painting.
A raised painted surface needs to remain unbent. Discuss stretched or framed transport for heavy texture. Quote the intended surface first so the packing choice does not undermine the finished painting.
Black, white, wood, silver, and gold share the same frame-color pricing. Rolled, stretched, and framed presentations are different finishes and are quoted accordingly.
